Installer FastStart Program
Enphase Energy is pleased to offer the following cash incentives to installers:
Residential
- $500 for first Enphase installation
- $250 for second Enphase installation
Commercial
- $1,500 for first Enphase installation
- $1,000 for second Enphase installation
In addition, all participants will receive the Enphase Welcome Package:
- One-hour design consultation
- Co-branded banner
- Enphase collateral package
Program Details
- Program runs from September 15 - November 30, 2008
- Incentive request forms must be submitted to Enphase by November 30, 2008
- Minimum installation sizes: Residential - 15-module system; Commercial - 120-module system
- Installer must show authorized distributor invoice as proof of purchase
- Customer site must show up in the Enlighten monitoring system in order for Enphase to verify installation
- An eligible "installer" is defined as a company who purchases Enphase products from Enphase distributors and performs solar energy installations for customers
- Installer must have completed Enphase training (webinar or in-person)
Process
Following is the process for the Enphase Energy FastStart program:
- The installer completes and faxes the FastStart Request Form - First Installation or FastStart Request Form - Second Installation, including the following information:
- Installation information
- Installer company information
- Distributor information
- Note: Installer must attach distributor invoice for Enphase equipment
- Enphase Energy Customer Care verifies the eligibility of the installer and installation:
- Installation is first or second site installed by installer
- Installation is visible on the Enlighten monitoring system
- Installer has attended Enphase training
- Enphase sends Welcome Kit to installer
- Enphase issues reimbursement check to installer
FAQs
- What is the process for initiating the reimbursement to the installer?
- The installer should download, complete, and fax the FastStart Request Form - First Installation or FastStart Request Form - Second Installation in order to start the process.
- Why do I need to provide my taxpayer ID number?
- IRS regulations require us to report any income greater than $600. If you receive promotional checks greater than $600, we will report the income to the IRS and you will receive a 1099 statement at the end of the year.
- Will installations that occurred prior to the program start date of September 15, 2008 be eligible for the promotion?
- Systems installed prior to September 15, 2008 will not qualify for the promotion, but systems installed and meeting the criteria during the promotional period will.
- What is timeframe for sending the reimbursement checks?
- All checks will be sent to installers within 4 weeks of the end of the promotion program.
