Paul Nahi has over 20 years of experience in both entrepreneurial and multinational high technology companies. Most recently, Paul was the CEO of Crimson Microsystems, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in large scale SONET ICs for the telecommunications industry, with customers in Russia, India and the United States. Prior to Crimson, Paul was the CEO and co-founder of Accelerant Networks, a semiconductor company that designed and developed intelligent multi-gigabit transceivers. Accelerant was acquired by Synopsis, Inc. Prior to Accelerant, Paul served as General Manager of the Communications and Media Divisions for NEC Electronics. Before NEC, Paul was the Senior Director for Diamond Multimedia where, as an early member of the executive team, he helped grow Diamond from a small, privately held enterprise to a publicly traded company with offices worldwide and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Paul has a BS in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Raghu Belur has 15 years of experience in engineering and engineering management. He started his career at the Indian Institute of Science where he worked on a team developing an alternative energy gasification system. He was an early engineer at Cerent, where he was responsible for the development of the optical 2.5Gig interface for the Cerent-454 ADM. Cerent was subsequently acquired by Cisco for $7 Billion. At Cisco, Raghu was managing the team developing the 10Gig interface products for the ONS-15454. He co-founded Enphase Energy Inc. with Enphase CTO Martin Fornage in March of 2006. Raghu has a MSEE from Texas A&M University.
Robert Schwartz is Managing Director of Third Point Ventures, the Sunnyvale, CA based Venture Capital arm of Third Point LLC., a registered investment adviser based in New York with approximately $6 billion of assets under management. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors at Enphase Energy, he is currently a Board member of Solar Notion, LitePoint, Liga Systems, Sequoia Communications, Inapac Technology, and Technocom Wireless.
Since 1984, Mr. Schwartz has been the President and majority shareholder of RF Associates North, Inc., a leading technical manufacturer's representative firm in Northern California. Mr. Schwartz holds two undergraduate Engineering degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Wilson began his career at AT&T, where he held technical, sales and marketing positions. In 1990, he joined Wilbraham & Monson Academy, a 200-year old private secondary school located in central Massachusetts, where he was Director of External Affairs and held positions in Admissions, Development and Financial Assistance. He later joined Montague Corporation, a manufacturing business where he was a general manager involved in all aspects of the business. In 1998, Mr. Wilson joined RockPort Partners, a merchant bank specializing in the energy and environmental sectors, and helped form the venture fund in 2001.
He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Davidson Instruments, EcoSMART Technologies, Hydropoint Data Systems and Pionetics Corporation, and is an observer to the Boards of Directors of NeoPhotonics Corporation and NanoGram Corporation.
Mr. Wilson received a BA in History and Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Madrone invests on behalf of members of the Walton Family with a long-term, patient capital approach. Jamie leads Madrone's efforts in sustainability and alternative energy. Prior to Madrone, Jamie was a technology growth capital investor at TA Associates, a leading US private equity firm. Before TA, he worked as a Product Manager at Cisco Systems and as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Jamie currently serves on the Board of Directors at Fluidic Energy, Solyndra, Achates Power, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. He serves on the Advisory Board for Rockport Capital Partners and The Global Environment Fund. Jamie earned an AB degree with high honors from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
